For over 80 years, Parmarth Niketan has been sharing the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda with seekers worldwide. It is renowned for its Hawan at Parmarth Ghat and the mesmerizing Maha Aarti held at dawn and dusk.

Despite the simplicity of ashram living, the Parmarth Niketan rooms are equipped with modern amenities such as geysers and air conditioners etc. to enhance your stay. The rooms have been deliberately kept simple to reduce unnecessary clutter, white marble and hardwood lend a sense of warmth with big ventilated windows. Large courtyards are a very prominent part of the Ashram. One will experience the Divine atmosphere by waking up with chanting and the sound of the Maa Ganga. There is no better place to stay in Rishikesh than here!

Food

We offers light and freshly cooked Sattvic ashram food. The Sattvic diet (pure and balanced) is believed to increase energy, produces happiness, calmness, and mental clarity. No special and processed food will be provided.

  • Any extra nights of stay will have to be booked and paid directly to the ashram.

Refund & Reschedule Policy

We value transparency and fairness. Please read our payment and refund policy carefully before booking your Rishikesh Yoga Retreat.

    • Full payments are required – no partial or pending payments will be accepted.

    • All payments must be completed at least 2 weeks before the retreat start date. If not, your spot may be released to waitlisted participants and your booking canceled.

    • No installments – payments must be made in one transaction.

    • No discounts – retreat pricing is fixed for all participants.

    • No refunds within 2 weeks of the retreat, except under extenuating circumstances.

    • Under such circumstances, 50% of the payment will be retained as cancellation fees, and 50% will be transferred to a future retreat.

    • Bookings are non-transferable – only the person registered may attend.

    • Itinerary changes may occur in case of adverse weather or emergency situations for participant safety.

    • In case of a natural disaster, the retreat will be rescheduled, and payments will be adjusted towards the new date.

Atul Kumar Verma (Atreya) is a Yogacharya with a Master’s degree in Yoga (his second majors), Internationally Accredited Highest Yoga Credentials eRYT 500, YCB Level-3 (Ministry of AYUSH) and many more. He aced 2 State Level Yoga Competitions, he was frequently featured on AIR-FM Gold, News18, Zee News etc and his articles have been published many times in many Newspapers and also in South Asia’s leading Dental Journal.

Yogacharya Atul Kumar Verma (Atreya), founder of Yogatreya Yoga Teacher Training School, gave up his high-paying job as IT Head of an esteemed IT company to devote himself entirely to Yoga. Since then, he has taught yoga (online/offline) to 3000+ students from 15+ countries, including 500+ Yoga Teachers from Yogatreya, known for its high-quality yoga teacher trainings. Additionally, he has a sizable fan base on YouTube, with more than 6 lakh subscribers to his YouTube channel, Fitness Rockers.

Yogacharya Atul Kumar Verma(Atreya) is widely recognized for his expertise of applied Yoga Anatomy & Yoga Asana. His classes emphasize alignment and mindfulness, making them ideal for those seeking a deeper understanding of yoga.

Yoga Shikshika Purnima Wason, Owner of Kalpshala The Yoga Studio,  hold Internationally Accredited Highest Yoga Credentials RYT 500 and she learned various Advance Meditaion Techniques too.

She brings a unique energy to her classes. Her focus on spiritual awakening and self-discovery through meditation has garnered a dedicated following in the city. With a focus on holistic wellness, she combines traditional yoga practices with modern approaches for making her classes accessible and enjoyable.
